Kicker Alex Spence of West Florence was offered by Clemson Friday during camp and he committed to the Tigers.
Clemson was the first major program to offer Spence.
Last season Spence was 11 of 13 on field goals with a long of 47 yards, and he was 50-54 on extra points. 42 of his kickoffs went for touchbacks, and he averaged over 39 yards per punt. He's Clemson's 11th commitment for the 2014 class.
