As I continue to go through film, the updates continue on talent from the Palmetto State. The Lexington Wildcats have an outstanding athlete rising from the Class of 2016 in defensive back Nick Graves and I expect him to be one of the state's best in that recruiting cycle.
The 6'2, 170lbs athlete is an aggressive, quick athlete with excellent instincts. He has good body control and good breaking speed on the ball. He runs a 4.5 40 yard dash, has a 4.1 shuttle and a 35.5 inch vertical jump. He's a little light and needs to get stronger but this is a kid that has a chance to be a big time prospect because of his skills set.
Last season as a sophomore, Graves had 34 tackles, 1 interception, and 10 PBUs. He's filling the voice at cornerback for the Wildcats but I think he projects higher as a safety at the next level.
He visited Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, The Citadel, and Furman this past Summer.
