Every recruiting class has sleepers - guys that fly under the radar - and Lancaster wide receiver Jay Hood is one of those players for the class of 2015. Hood, who has remained obscure in the recruiting media circles is starting to generate some interest.
The 6-3, 185lbs receiver had the misfortune of playing on a team that was not very successful and therefore did not get a lot of exposure. But Hood managed to haul in 55 catches for 755 yards and 8 touchdowns in a partial season. He suffered a season ending injury late in the season and missed the last few games.
Hood is a hard worker and doesn't mind blocking down field for the run game. Under new direction this year, the Bruins will try to improve and Hood should be a major part of that quest.
