The latest Palmetto State senior to be profiled by PalmettoPreps.com is Travelers Rest athlete Cameron Henderson, perhaps one of the most underrated prospects in the state.

The name of Henderson's game is versatility. He contributes at multiple positions at the high school level - turn on his film and you'll see him playing quarterback, running back, corner, safety, blitzing off the edge, and making a big impact on special teams.

That trait - his adaptability - could serve him well as the next level, too. Henderson shows strong hands on tape and also does a nice job running routes, which makes him an intriguing option as a slot wideout for college.

Henderson's super competitive and carries an excellent football IQ. He always seems to be around the ball defensively, no matter where he's lined up, and excels at any of those spots.

Although he's "undersized" in the traditional sense, he's quick-footed and twitchy when playing running back and runs tougher and bigger than that size. As mentioned before, he's also an asset in the passing game.

A player's value in the special teams game is also something college coaches look for, and Henderson is both willing and able to make a substantial impact there covering kicks and punts.
