Next up in PalmettoPreps.com's "inside the film room" series is a look at one of the state's top SCISA players.

2021 lineman Therion Cannon out of Thomas Heyward Academy excels as a two-way player for the Rebels, playing left tackle on offense and defensive tackle on defense. Check out Cannon's film below, and more of our scouting report as well.

Cannon best projects, in our view, at the next level as an offensive lineman and is particularly intriguing as an interior prospect due to his movement skills. He's still light right now, but has the frame to continue gaining weight.

Cannon shows a very quick first step, allowing him to drive defenders and effectively pull when run-blocking. He packs a nice initial punch when locking onto the opposition and then is a finisher when run-blocking. Cannon plays with a physical disposition and has some nastiness to him on the field. It's not easy to find players of Cannon's size that move as well as he does that also have the IQ and appropriate mentality to thrive on the interior.
