A.C. Flora quarterback Brendan Greene had a stellar season in 2014, completing 110 of 202 passes for 2,053 yards and 17 toudhdowns. He also rushed the ball 62 times for 155 yards and five more scores. Last season, he was an All-Region III-3A selection and was a member of our WACH-57 All-Midlands team.
The 6-1, 190lbs player, who is also a standout on the Falcons' baseball team, has generated some attention in the off-season and has Liberty and Appalachian State showing a lot of interest. He's worked hard in training this off-season, working on his throwing mechanics and has increased velocity on the ball to add to his already impressive arm strength.
Greene is a definite FCS caliber player. He's got the size, strength, and skill set to fit in the right offense. I believe he would do well in an option-based offense but his cerebral play will allow him to execute any offense he's put in.
