This Upstate wideout is a team captain for Greer who racked up 57 catches for 730 yards and 7 touchdowns as a junior last season.

As well, we hear from folks around the program that he's a gem both on and off the field. One Greer assistant told us that he's likely the most competitive player in quite some time from the program and compared him to recent NFL Draft selection Troy Pride in that regard.

Let's dive into the film:

DeArmond's highlight tape is well put-together and effectively shows what he can do in a variety of roles.

He's a very savvy route runner who's technical in his approach. Greer plays a difficult schedule year in and year out and DeArmond was able to get open and be productive consistently against talented defensive backs.

He shows the ability to play outside, although we're very intrigued by his potential as a slot operator at the college level. He has quick feet and create separation with his footwork. Even though he's not a "big" wideout, DeArmond also shows competitiveness with the ball in the air, with good timing and body control.

DeArmond is a tough cover for teams on third downs because he has the speed and downfield ability to be a threat, but he can easily break off his route on an out or comeback and get past the sticks. He plays with a high football IQ and is a willing blocker in the run game.

This is a very good player at the high school level and someone PalmettoPreps.com needs to include in its top player lists going forward.
