The class of 2021 has a number of 2021 play-makers at the running back position and Sumter High School back Nathan Harris-Waynick is one of the best.

As a junior, Harris-Waynick ran for over 1000 yards and 24 touchdowns despite starting only six games. Check out his film below.

As seen in his film, Harris-Waynick is a powerful back that runs with impressive balance and speed for a player of his size. After transferring over from Wilson Hall, Harris-Waynick began the season second on the depth chart but took over as starter a few games in when Georgia Southern signee Anthony Dinkins-McCall went down with a knee injury.

Obviously, Harris-Waynick made the most of his opportunity.

A patient runner, Harris-Waynick thrives in Sumter's spread offense. He thrives in the weight room with a 515-pound squat and 315-pound bench press. He excels at running through arm tackles and keeps his legs moving through contact, often pushing the pile and dragging tacklers for extra yardage after being wrapped up.

Harris-Waynick is poised for a big senior season. When he camps this summer and colleges see him in person, the offers should begin to pour in. A projected December graduate, schools will be clamoring for the opportunity to sign the early enrollee.
