Hilton Head DLL Poona Ford met yesterday with USC recruiters and set an official visit with the Gamecock for this coming weekend. This meeting is coming off of the heals of a visit to Texas this past weekend.
Ford, who was committed to Louisville and de-committed after Coach Charlie Strong's departure for Texas, had taken USC off of his visit plans but added them after the Texas visit, stating a change of heart because of proximity to home.
Ford has Missouri, South Carolina, and Texas as his final three. The fact that he had a change of heart about South Carolina DURING his visit to Texas indicates to me that there is a possible commitment coming for the Gamecocks, potentially as early as this coming weekend.
