It's hard to imagine Dutch Fork going into a game billed as "David and Goliath" and not being Goliath. But when the Silver Foxes travel to Allen, Texas, this week it will be the Eagles playing the role of Goliath and Dutch Fork trying to be David slaying the giant.

Dutch Fork will move the football against the Eagles. Matt Colburn staying healthy is vital to that. The Foxes fell apart against Goose Creek last season when they lost Colburn and this Eagle team is way better than that Goose Creek team was. .I think Dutch Fork needs to get better at the quarterback position and perhaps hitting some high percentage passes to balance the ground game will be effective. Ball control is going to be crucial in this game because they do NOT want that Eagle offense on the field.

Everyone has heard about quarterback Kyler Murray (5-11, 175). He's a very poised young man in the pocket, elusive with the ability to extend plays. You can see this kid on film reading through his progressions. When he pulls it to run as a last resort, he's very dangerous as a runner. Two receivers to keep an eye on are Jaylen Guyton (6-1, 185) and Lee Morris. Morris (6-2, 120) was a JV player last season but is playing TE-WR for the Eagles now and gives them a solid second threat beyond Guyton. Guyton is committed to Notre Dame.

In the trenches, the Eagles have three offensive linemen that are headed Division I. Tackle Greg Little (6-6, 281) is a Texas A&M commit, tackle Bobby Evans (6-5, 285) is an Oklahoma commit, and their center (6-3, 280) is committed to North Texas.

Last week, Allen beat Texas 4A No. 1 Denton Guyer, 55-41.
