The top wide receiver is Northwestern's Dupree Hart. He hasn't gotten many Division I offers because of his size (5-8, 185), but Hart is easily the top talent at this position in the state. He is a dynamic runner after the catch and is a big-time playmaker. He has speed, quickness, runs precision routes, sinks his hips and decelerates and explodes out of his breaks better than any of the rest. Has FCS offers, but I think the FBS guys will come to their senses.
At the No. 2 is Byrnes' Tavin Richardson (6-2, 210). Early on, he looked like he'd develop into a tight end, but he has had a great couple of seasons at wide-out. He's long, with a strong frame, good speed, and great hands; physical player; he has multiple FBS and FCS offers.
At No. 3 is Greenwood's Markeyvious Adams. Adams (6-3, 175) could rate higher if he was in an offense that threw the ball more; he's a big target with good speed and vertical ability and has great hands. He has one FBS offer, along with FCS schools, but that activity will pick up this summer and fall.
Dorman's J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (6-2, 193) is at the No. 4 spot. This dual-sport star started grabbing attention last year as the main weapon for the Cavaliers. He has a good frame and is excellent in air battles with defensive backs. He has excellent hands; lacks breakaway speed, but is good maneuvering after the catch.
No. 5 is South Florence's Tabari Hines. Hines (5-10, 165) has played both sides of the football. He is an exciting player, out of the same mold as Hart of Northwestern. He's the fastest of this group and is lethal after the catch and on special teams. Some project him as a slot at the next level, but I could see him playing corner on defense.
The next five for the Class of 2015:
Latrell Nieves, (6-0, 180), Colleton County: Playmaker with ball in his hands; good skill set.
Freddie Phillips, (6-2, 175) Pelion: I see Phillips on either side, but he will rank higher as a safety.
Adonis Lee, (6-3, 175), Westwood: Long body, great hands and vertical ability.
Xavier Young, (6-1, 175), Spartanburg: Sleeper talent; strong skill set with speed.
Jason Hill, (5-9, 175), Boiling Springs: Undersized, but great skill set with speed and excellent work ethic. Probably an FCS guy.
