TIGHT ENDS: Since we do not have a deep class at tight end, I'm listing the kids I know will be playing at the next level. After evaluations, we could see a couple of more guys on this list.
No. 1: Collin Reed (6-3, 212), Boiling Springs: Clearly the top player at this position in the state; has interest from several FBS schools and has FCS schools offering. Excellent skill set and can play in the "Z" or slot.
No. 2: Ben Jaques (6-6, 200), Wando: Big target; lean, but shows good skills in blocking. Has good hands.
We're in the process of evaluating Isaac Moorehouse of Anderson Cavs, a homeschool team; film is good relative to the competition he faces; really need to see him in camp to get a good look at him. He's got the physical presence and a good skill set, which we saw at QB1 Challenge last year, but needs further evaluation.
